CEDETAS, was established in 1958 to offer specialized electromechanical design, engineering and consultancy services under the name "Cedetas Elektrik". In 1974, "Cedetas Elektrik" was renamed "Cedetas Muhendislik ve Musavirlik Ltd. Sti. - Cedetas Engineering and Consulting Limited Company". In its work over the past 52 years, Cedetas has undertaken many projects with the project-specific solutions and applications in the electrotechnical industry.
CEDETAS, added electrical and electromechanical production activities to its portfolio in 1982. Since 1986, these operations were incorporated as a separate company called "Cedetas Elektromekanik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. - Cedetas Electromechanical Industry and Trade Corporation". Cedetas has been a domestic market pioneer in the development and production of emergency, directional and informational lighting luminaires and units, low voltage, medium voltage and automation panels.
