As a part of KGM Group, the history of the company extends back to Karakayalar Construction which is founded by Ali Ilhan Karakaya in 1987.

For 25 years, KGM Group has operated in Turkey, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Libya, Sudan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan at full steam without compromising standards or quality. Member of the board, Ayse Karakaya underlined the fact that KGM Group has never given up on its growth targets. It achieved these targets by putting KGM Group on the international stage and turning the global financial crisis in 2008 into an opportunity.
